ÖM-Titel für Brunner und Innerhofer

Peter Brunner und Katharina Innerhofer haben sich in Hochfilzen die Österreichischen Meistertitel im Super-Einzel gesichert. In Abwesenheit einiger Weltcup-Athleten setzte sich Brunner mit nur einem Fehler vor seinem Tiroler  Landsmann Felix Leitner (+4,7 sec.) durch. Dritter wurde der Steirer Harald Lemmerer, der wie Leitner vier Scheiben verfehlte. Bei den Damen setzte sich die Salzburgerin Katharina Innerhofer trotz drei Fehlschüssen vor der Kärntnerin Dunja Zdouc und der Steirerin Tamara Steiner durch.

Austria’s Back-up Relay Team Putting Up A Good Show

In the final race of the Hochfilzen world cup, the Norwegian relay team of Johannes Dale, Erlend Bjoentegaard, Tarjei Bö and Johannes Thingnes Bö has taken the victory in the relay competition men. 10.900 enthusiastic spectators saw what looked like a German victory for a long time until Bö passed DSV final leg runner Benedikt Doll with a fantastic performance.

Another Triumph for Bö in the Pursuit

After winning the sprint competition, Johannes Thingnes Bö has also taken the victory in the pursuit at the Hochfilzen world cup. The 26-year-old cleared all 20 targets and was celebrating an undisputed victory. The other two spots on the podium went to Alexander Loginov from Russia (+33.5 sec) and Emilien Jacquelin from France (+40.5 sec), both of them shooting flawless as well.

Norway rejoicing in Women Relay Competition

The Norwegen team has won the 4 x 6 km women relay competition in Hochfilzen. Despite one penalty loop, Karoline Knotten, Ingrid Tandrevold, Tiril Eckhoff and Mart Olsbu Roiseland took the top podium in an exciting competition 8.2 seconds in front of Russia (Kristina Reztsova, Laris Kuklina, Svetlana Mironova and Ekaterina Yurlova-Percht). The battle for third place was also thrilling until the end. Switzerland, represented by the three Gasparin-sisters and final leg runner Lena Haecki, have been delighted to win the second relay podium in a row in the end.
