The Austrian Ski Federation Trio Dominik Landertinger, Lorenz Wäger und Felix Leitner have been the clear winners of today’s men’s race (3x 7.5 km) beating the Team from Salzburg (Klaus Leitinger, Fabian Hörl and Sven Grossegger) flat out. However, in the women’s competition (3 x 6 km) the Team Salzburg was able to successfully defend last year’s title on a course in most excellent condition. Katharina Innerhofer, Christina Rieder und Susanne Hoffmann won with a great lead on trio from the Tyrol, Simone Kupfner, Anna Maria Schreder and Anna Gandler.

Dominik Landertinger: “It went very well today. I went full out on the first lap which might have been a bit too much. I’ve felt it on the second lap but I’ve recovered well and was able to push until the end. The shooting was also good. Most important, my back didn’t give any problems. Now I am looking forward to the next world cup races at Oberhof.“

Head Coach Reinhard Gösweiner: “Some of our top performers like Daniel Mesotitsch and Dominik Landertinger have presented themselves very well today. They are clearly on the right track. After a 14-day-break and before the next world cups, it was important to check performance under competition conditions.”
