Varied Supporting Program
Away from the track, visitors will also be offered plenty of entertainment around the stadium. Starting at 9:00 AM on competition days, food trucks will open to spoil fans with culinary delights. In the fan arena, visitors can get into the mood for the upcoming races with music and a live stream. The award ceremonies will take place directly in the stadium immediately following the events. On Friday and Saturday, the biathlon celebration will continue with due celebration at official parties.
Important Test Run for the 2028 World Championships
This year's World Cup also serves as a dress rehearsal for the Biathlon World Championships in February 2028. Athletes and guests can therefore already look forward to numerous innovations. These include adaptations to various overpasses and underpasses along the competition tracks, adjustments in the approach area to the shooting range, as well as the expansion of the grandstand building and additional seating capacity.
"We want to create a truly unforgettable biathlon experience for everyone involved, both on and off the track. With these innovations, we are not only creating optimal conditions for the World Cup and the World Championships, but also strengthening the location for the long term and in a sustainable way," emphasizes OC (Organizing Committee) Chief Franz Berger.
Demand for tickets has already risen significantly this year. However, tickets are currently still available in almost all categories.
