The biathlon world mourns... With Laura Dahlmeier, the biathlon family loses one of the most successful athletes of her time, but above all, a wonderful and extraordinary person. At just 31 years old, she tragically lost her life in the mountains of Pakistan.

The IBU Biathlon World Championships in 2017 were marked by Laura's "rain of medals" – with 5 gold and 1 silver medal, Laura was celebrated as the most successful athlete in Hochfilzen (AUT)!
