Hauser and Eder win Austrian Biathlon Super Individual Championships in Hochfilzen

Yesterday, Hochfilzen saw the Austrian Biathlon Super Individual Championships in perfect weather and fantastic track conditions.

About 90 starters from youth, aged 16 to the women's and men's classes were represented. With only one mistake in the first prone shooting and a good skiing performance, Lisa Hauser secured the victory in the women's category and was crowned Austrian Champion.

With a flawless result at the shooting range, Christina Rieder from Salzburg secured the second place in front of of Katharina Innerhofer, who missed three targets in standing position.

In the men's event, Simon Eder scored the best ÖSV result once again, putting 19 out of 20 shots on target, thus winning the title of Austrian Champion in a commanding manner. With 4 misses each, Harald Lemmerer and Patrick Jakob took second and third place.

Anna Gandler from the Kitzbühel Ski Club took first place in the women’s junior category in front of her club colleague Victoria Mellitzer and Leonie Pitzer from WSV Ramsau.

In the men’s juniors, Jakob Feuersinger (SK Bruck) held his own in front of Saalfelden's David Neumayr and KSC athlete Maximillian Prosser.
