Next Victory for Johannes Thingnes Boe

After his sprint victory yesterday, Johannes Thingnes Boe showcased his full class again today in the pursuit in Hochfilzen (AUT). The Norwegian triumphed in a thrilling race with a total of two penalty loops and a 3.5-second lead over Frenchman Emilien Jacquelin (1 missed shot).

The two athletes had an exciting duel for the victory on the final lap, during which the Frenchman unfortunately fell, missing the chance for a possible triumph. The podium was completed by another Norwegian, Sturla Holm Laegreid (+3.8 sec./1 missed shot).

Simon Eder improved by five positions compared to yesterday and finished as the best Austrian in 30th place (+2:50.6 min.) with one penalty loop. Felix Leitner narrowly missed World Cup points with one missed shot, finishing 42nd (+3:59.4 sec.).
