On Wednesday, March 28, 2018, Dominik Landertinger has been welcomed by the HSV Hochfilzen with a small and fine celebration in the Tirolhaus of the Biathlon Stadium Hochfilzen to celebrate his bronze medal of the Olympic Winter Games of Pyeongchang (South Korea). The President of the HSV-Hochfilzen, Franz Berger, honored Dominik’s excellent performance in his speech.

In front of about 10.000 spectators, Anastasiya Kuzmina from Slovakia has only missed one target and, after an outstanding race, taken the victory 10.2 seconds in front of Kaisa Mäkäräinen from Finland who had two misses.
Johannes Thingnes Boe is the man of the hour in biathlon sports. The winner of yesterday’s sprint competition had to do three penalty loops, however, the Norwegian still took a masterful victory with his third season total victory.
Darya Domracheva has been dominating the women sprint competition of Hochfilzen. The 31-year-old from Belarus was perfect at the shooting range and took the victory 22.1 seconds over Olympic Champion Anastasiya Kuzmina from Slovakia and 30.6 seconds over Dorothea Wierer from Italy who had to do one penalty loop, just like Kuzmina.
Johannes Thingnes Boe has won the sprint in Hochfilzen. The Norwegian cleared and followed through with the best course time against Martin Fourcade who had to settle for the second place. He won by 12.4 seconds over the world cup total score leader. Jakov Fak, from Slovenia, who also has also cleared all ten targets took the third place, trailing the winner by 35.4 seconds
